About Anna

Architecture has always been part of Anna’s life, from family vacations centered around iconic buildings to dinner-table conversations about design. Growing up with an architect father sparked her passion early on and made pursuing architecture feel like a natural path. She has been inspired by experiencing a wide range of architecture across different cultures and places.

Outside of work, Anna loves to travel and explore new places, from discovering new restaurants to visiting National Parks. She has been to 18 countries and 44 states and hopes to keep adding to that list. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, being outdoors golfing or hiking, and is always up for a good card game.

On her favorite project

"Being at Abacus, I’ve really enjoyed getting to work on a variety of projects, as each one offers unique opportunities to learn and grow. One area that has particularly stood out to me is single-family residential design. There’s something rewarding about seeing how careful design decisions can create a meaningful, personal space for clients."

On relational architecture

"To me, relational architecture is about creating meaningful connections between all the people involved in a project. Architecture is much more than lines on a page it’s about the relationships you build, the collaboration throughout the process, and the ways your design can positively impact people’s lives. It’s designing with intention for the experience of the people who will interact with the space."
