Erina grew up in Albania and moved to Chicago in 2017 to pursue higher education. She began her academic journey with an Associate’s degree in Pre-Architecture from the College of DuPage, then transferred to the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where she earned a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree. Her experiences with Albania’s rich historical architecture and Chicago’s striking modern skyline have shaped her appreciation for design across different cultural and urban contexts.
She comes from a large, close-knit family spread between Albania and Chicago. Her father, stepmother, sister, and brother live in Chicago, while her mother, stepfather, and other brother remain in Albania. In her free time, she enjoys painting and experimenting with various art mediums as a way to express her creativity. She’s also passionate about documentaries, which inspire her curiosity about different cultures, histories, and ideas. Whether through art or film, Erina is drawn to activities that challenge her imagination and expand her understanding of the world.
“As a new member of the firm, I’m excited to contribute to residential projects and hopefully in the future I could work on a residential project from start to finish.”
“The impact of our design ideas is amplified through the relationships we build—shaping not just spaces, but the lives, communities, and environments they touch.”
