About Jason

With 20 years of experience in architecture, Jason has worked across a wide range of commercial project types, including restaurants, entertainment and recreational spaces, retail, hospitality, civic, multifamily, residential, and industrial environments. He enjoys the variety architecture provides and the opportunity to learn something new with every project.

Jason studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was drawn to the profession by the opportunity to solve problems creatively. He enjoys finding thoughtful ways to balance a client’s goals with spaces that are functional, efficient, and enjoyable to experience.

A longtime Sheboygan resident, Jason lives with his wife and their twins. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling and exploring new places with his family, gardening, biking, and playing sports with his kids. He also holds a private pilot’s license and enjoys flying whenever he gets the chance.

On his favorite project

“It’s difficult to choose just one favorite because every project presents an opportunity to learn something new. Some local winery and restaurant projects I’ve worked on stand out because of the unique design and technical challenges involved. Working through those complexities and seeing the finished spaces come together was incredibly rewarding. That process of solving problems and ultimately creating something functional and beautiful is what I enjoy most about architecture.”

On relational architecture

“To me, Relational Architecture is about understanding that architecture is ultimately about people and the relationships they have with the spaces around them. The places we design influence how people feel, interact, gather, work, and live. Good architecture should not only meet today’s needs, but adapt and continue providing value as those needs evolve. The goal is to create places that have a lasting relationship with the people who use them.”
