Sargento Board Room

OVERVIEW

When the “Persnickety Cheese People” need a new Board Room for their corporate headquarters, you can imagine that it’s going to need to be something special. A cheesy remodel just won’t do.

Carved out of existing office space adjacent to the Company’s executive offices, the new Board Room is a fresh interpretation of Sargento’s traditional culture.

Limited by the height of the building’s existing roof structure, the design utilizes a central “barrel-vaulted” metal ceiling, subdivided by dark-stained wood “beam” elements, to add drama and imply greater volume than the space actually provides, while still accommodating all of the prerequisite audio/visual capabilities.

The project also involved the complete remodeling of a mid-90s, two-story office area that creates a more open environment and a convenient connection to a recently completed office addition.
